Monthly Favorites December- Winter Edition
Only 2 more weeks and we have the 24. December, then the time of Christmas markets, the gifts search and the fairy lights is over. But then the winter really begins. Right now I look out the window and it is snowing incessantly- Yes, it stays cold for the time being. Which right now I’m just wishing for a flight out of December and into July with summer nights and a big stracciatella mango sundae.
But winter also has its beautiful sides and white Christmas is unbeatable. So let’s hope the snow stays until New Year and then leaves room for spring really fast. Today I present you a few of my favorites for December, respectively the cold days.
Winter wonderland with these December favorites works out
The caring helpers
The word care is written very large in the winter, so we start with the most important moisture boosters. The skin is our largest organ and often exposed to the icy temperatures.
Especially the skin is enormously stressed. Especially here it needs a good care base that protects the skin. For a good half year now, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the Dr.Haushka series. The switch to natural products has also done my skin a lot of good and I don’t want to miss the products anymore. These are all products of Dr. Haushka, which I am using at the moment:
An old known favorite of mine, which I would like to pick up again is – the hair oil. Not only in the summer it is important to care for the hair, because the dry heating air, strains by scarf and hat, as well as the cold can damage the hair. My hair oil is from the Body Shop and although I use it so often, I have hardly used anything up. Super productive for a price of 12€ definitely worth it.
A small all-rounder, which has it quite in itself. I use the Kaufmann baby cream for hands and lips and it is available at dm for less than one euro. The greasy cream takes a long time to be absorbed, so apply it a good 2 hours before going to bed.
December moody
Not only with good Christmas music you get into a festive mood. With a cup of tea, you can relax in the evening and review the day. Add to that your favorite candy, cozy socks and a warm blanket- you can’t get more Christmassy than that.
My current favorite among teas is the Detox from Kusmi Tea. I got this one two months ago from a dear friend for my birthday. The green teas from Kusmi are super delicious and I love to eat the chocolate cream rings from Rewe. I know, pure sugar, but when I see them, my heart melts.
What candy makes your heart melt?
With style through the winter
A fashion blogger of course also needs a fashion accessory that she counts among her favorites. In my outfit posts I always write about the current trends and clothes, suitable for the respective season. So I wanted to choose a slightly different accessory for my favorite.
This fur pom pom is a wonderful way to decorate his hats. I got the black cap on the picture with detachable fur pom-pom as a Christmas present and I can tie it on any cap as I like. Super to highlight a plain hat.
